Job Description: 

•  Complete estimation, test design and planning and test execution for projects assigned.
• Participate the planning, scheduling and estimations. Performs evaluation of products and systems and determines candidates for automation.
• Exposure to Agile/Waterfall SDLC
• Ability to capture, analyze the requirements and build test cases, test scenarios
• Prior experience in manual testing of Mobile application testing includes including compatibility, usability and Accessibility
• Good to have knowledge about web services, web sites, reports, data base verification, migration testing
• May cross-train and mentor less experienced QA team members.
• Evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing the assigned work functions objectives to develop and implement improved procedures and practices and to ensure compliance with required standards.
• Collaborate with Business Project Managers, Technical Deliver Managers, Applications Development and Infrastructure managers to document, investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Provide test progress report with metrics to project stakeholders.
• Keeps abreast of software industry “Best Practices” and trends and communicates new information to QA team.
• Perform other duties as assigned or self-initiated

   

        Job Specification:

• 5-7 years of Quality Assurance industry experience with 2-4 years as Mobile tester with significant experience leading multiple software development testing efforts including automation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of testing methodologies and application debugging from a technical and Proficiency with Mobile application testing
• Proficiency with manual testing of web services, web sites, desktop applications including compatibility, usability and Accessibility
• Understands the PCI, PII, ADA, GDPR compliances  
• Experience with defect tracking/management, test data management and ability to formulate metrics. Comprehensive knowledge with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint
• Working knowledge of Database, ability write basic queries using SQL Plus for Database verification.
• Ability to identify and provide requirements for automation team members
• Knowledge of automation frameworks, tools and Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment using Jenkin
• Knowledge of web/rest services automation testing tools to include (but not limited to) JMeter, SOAP UI, Rest Assured etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge with performance and load testing tools to include (but not limited to) JMeter, LoadRunner etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
